Volunteer Information

Volunteer to assist at the Blackstone Valley Art & Wine Festival and help us Celebrate and Promote the Arts!

As a volunteer, you will receive:
Free Admission, an Art & Wine Festival Bag and a Food Voucher. In exchange, we ask for you to work a 3-hour shift where you will have the opportunity to interact with the public and help us make sure everyone has a great time at the festival. Volunteers are at the heart of the success of this event and we appreciate the opportunity to work with all of you.

Areas where volunteers can assist:

Admission: Responsibilities include selling tickets, distributing programs and festival bags, checking ID's and distributing wine glasses and bracelets.

Hospitality: Volunteers will be asked to distribute information and answer questions on the Blackstone Valley, insure tables and port-a-johns remain clean and supplied, handle lost and found items, assist other volunteers in checking in and finding their volunteer location and assist festival organizers in any area needed to insure the festival runs smoothly.

Handicapped Parking: Volunteers will be responsible for assisting in the limited handicapped parking area.

Rubbish Removal: Duties include gathering all rubbish, placing it in the dumpster and placing new bags in rubbish receptacles. Gloves will be provided for volunteers.

How do I sign up?

Complete the on-line volunteer form below indicating the times and any preferences you have for a volunteer area. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Thank you for your interest in volunteering for this year's Blackstone Valley Art & Wine Festival!

Approximately one week prior to the festival you will receive a packet of information including your complimentary ticket to the festival and information regarding where you will be volunteering, what time to arrive and a map of the site. We look forward to working with you.
