and the toasty aromas following the ageing in the bottle.

Turnbull Cabernet Sauvignon
Rich oak, touches of freshly roasted coffee and dusty earth, and subtle suggestions of mint emerge as complexing adjuncts to deep, keenly defined fruit in both the aromas and flavors of this well-made young Cabernet. The wine is moderately full-bodied and fit with a fine spine of tannin for age, but there is already a certain sense of suppleness and polish evident here, and its mix of real richness and continuous fruit makes impatient drinking forgivable if not wholly advised.
